IELTS Preparation
Do you need to prepare for your IELTS exam? We can provide practice materials and also workshops to help you get the best possible result. If you wish to study on your own you will find the IELTS Specimen Materials very useful. These are available through our Knowledge and Learning Centre at a cost of €26.
Short intensive workshops for candidates, especially designed to introduce and familiarise you with the IELTS test, are available through our Knowledge and Learning Centre.
The workshop will give you: a clear overview of the 4 modules (listening, writing, reading and speaking)
tips for scoring high marks in each module practice of your listening, reading and speaking skills.
Workshops take place on selected dates, starting at 0900 and finishing at 1500, whith three 10 minute breaks.
The cost for each participant is €175, paid at the British Council's office. The dates for the next workshops are: Friday 13 February & Friday 13 March.

We are pleased to inform the candidates that an alternative venue for the IELTS tests in Nicosia was identified, due to the fact that building works are taking place at the English school. The new venue is the Journalists House (Δημοσιογραφικη εστια), which is co-located with the Cyprus Journalists Union (Ενωση Συντακτων Κυπρου).
The new venue is located at 12 Leoforos RIK (Agladjia) and it is easily accessible for people coming into Nicosia, from other towns. It is a recent building, with high quality facilities, easy access, parking and catering facilities. Please note that your speaking tests will take place at the venue that you have already been informed about. The change is only in terms of your listening and written examinations.
